Advancing Global Maritime Safety
Founded by a small group of maritime professionals and advocates, INMADIAS emerged from a shared conviction that the world’s oceans needed stronger, independent voices working for the public good. Initially operating as an informal network of researchers, seafarers, and policy experts, the organization gradually evolved into a global non-profit dedicated to safer, more sustainable, and more equitable maritime practices. Over time, INMADIAS built partnerships with coastal communities, international institutions, and academic bodies, using evidence-based research and on-the-ground projects to influence policy and improve conditions at sea.
